Physical Design Case Studies
How might we create furniture from one 4' by 4' piece of plywood, and two 2' by 4' beams?
I learned how to woodwork and created a sturdy and functional chair with a unique design (resembling Japanese Torii arches). I also created a modular attachment that converted in three different ways.

How might we design a chair for small spaces?
My stool is created from 2' by 4's, plywood, a bunch of dowels - and can be completely disassembled. I named it "Chutes," given its stacked dowels ladder look (think "chutes and ladders"). I was able to stain and finish this chair a dark, mahogany color and a clear satin finish.
