How might we give Yelpers a more immersive experience beyond the search bar?
“Yelp Voices” was my response to a design prompt, challenging designers to incorporate podcasting into the existing Yelp application. I was able to utilize my user research skills, work on micro-interactions, and visually integrate “Yelp Voices” with the existing Yelp Style Guide.

How might we improve the SacHacks site to be more professional and user-friendly for stakeholders, sponsors, and students?
The current site as it stands is visually interesting but could improve on a couple fronts. Through user-testing, researching existing design trends within current hackathon sites, and tweaking the visual design, I was able to do a complete overhaul of the site.

How might we create more personal connections for mental health?
Releaf is a 24-hour project for social good created at a hackathon. I collaborated with three web developers to create a web app for social good. I specifically executed the user interface, competitive research and the design aspect and branding of our project.

The Opportunity is a Department of Commerce initiative that engages government, communities, and the technology industry. I was tasked with rethinking the flow of information, identifying pain points, restructuring the content hierarchy, and creating a brand new Opportunity Project website.
